AirAsia xchange Terms and Conditions

By using this AirAsia xchange hub, you are deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of the AirAsia xchange programme (“AirAsia xchange Programme”) as stated herein and any additional terms and conditions as may be stipulated by BIGLIFE Sdn. Bhd. (“BL”) and/or our loyalty partner (“Loyalty Partner”) from time to time.
To qualify and participate in the AirAsia xchange Programme via the AirAsia xchange platform on (i) AirAsia.com website or (ii) AirAsia mobile application (collectively referred to as “Dedicated Platforms” and singularly as “Dedicated Platform”), you must;

be an existing AirAsia member, having subscribed and registered for membership under the loyalty and rewards program operated by BL under the name “AirAsia rewards Programme” and have an AirAsia membership account, with a unique registration number known as the “AirAsia member ID” issued by BL at the time of conducting your points conversion transaction; and
have a valid/active partner loyalty membership (“Partner Loyalty Membership”) with sufficient points to convert.

You confirm that for the purposes of participating in the AirAsia xchange Programme offered and/or operated by the Loyalty Partner and/or BL, the sharing, transfer, retrieval, updating and processing of your personal information and data related to your BL and Partner Loyalty Membership account (including your AirAsia member and/or Partner Member ID and balance of AirAsia points and/or Partner Loyalty Points) may occur between BL and the Loyalty Partner, and you agree and consent to the processing and sharing of your personal information and data for purposes of the same.
You have the option to convert the Partner Loyalty Points* to AirAsia points or vice versa, or convert from one Partner Loyalty Points to another Partner Loyalty Points (“Other Partner Loyalty Points”) through the AirAsia xchange platform on the Dedicated Platform(s) via the following methods: -
(*Partner Loyalty Points of the Partner Loyalty Membership account added to universal points hub on the AirAsia xchange platform. You may add or remove the Partner Loyalty Membership account to or from the universal points hub on the AirAsia xchange platform at your sole and absolute discretion)

Instant Points Conversion

Conversion of Partner Loyalty Points to AirAsia points

Link your Partner Loyalty Membership account with your AirAsia membership account to have the list of Loyalty Partners and the respective points conversion ratio displayed.
Select “Instant” option and select preferred linked Loyalty Partner’s tile to convert.
Determine the number of Partner Loyalty Points to be converted to AirAsia points by entering the number of points conversion block(s) of Partner Loyalty Points that you wish to convert and proceed.
Upon successful conversion, Partner Loyalty Points will be deducted from your Partner Loyalty Membership account and AirAsia points will be credited to your AirAsia membership account instantly.
Subject to the points conversion structure displayed, you are allowed to make multiple points conversion transactions unless a limit is imposed on the number of points conversion transaction performed pursuant to this Programme.
AirAsia points received upon conversion are valid for a period of two (2) years from the date of such AirAsia points are credited to your AirAsia membership account.

Conversion of AirAsia points to Partner Loyalty Points

Link your Partner Loyalty Membership account with your AirAsia membership account to have the list of Loyalty Partners and the respective points conversion ratio displayed.
Select “Instant” option and select preferred linked Loyalty Partner’s tile to convert.
Click on the icon displaying two (2) arrows pointing at opposite directions to enable conversion of AirAsia points to Partner Loyalty Points.
Determine the number of AirAsia points to be converted to Partner Loyalty Points by entering the number of points conversion block(s) of AirAsia points to be converted and proceed.
Upon successful conversion, AirAsia points will be deducted from your AirAsia membership account and Partner Loyalty Points will be credited to your Partner Loyalty Membership account instantly.
Subject to the points conversion structure displayed, you are allowed to make multiple points conversion transactions unless a limit is imposed on the number of points conversion transaction performed pursuant to this Programme
The validity of the Partner Loyalty Points received upon conversion are subjected to the terms of use of the Partner Loyalty Programme.

Conversion of one Partner Loyalty Points to another Partner Loyalty Points

Link one of your Partner Loyalty Membership account with another Partner Loyalty Membership account of yours whose Partner Loyalty Points you wish to convert to (“Other Partner Loyalty Membership account”), on AirAsia xchange to have the list of Loyalty Partners and the respective points conversion ratio displayed (Subject to availability).
Select “Instant” option and select preferred linked Loyalty Partner’s tile to convert.
Click on the icon displaying two (2) arrows pointing at opposite directions to enable conversion of one Partner Loyalty Points to another Partner Loyalty Points or vice versa.
Determine the number of Partner Loyalty Points to be converted to another Partner Loyalty Points by entering the number of point conversion block(s) of the Partner Loyalty Points to be converted and proceed.
Upon successful conversion, Partner Loyalty Points will be deducted from your Partner Loyalty membership account and the Other Partner Loyalty Points will be credited to your Other Partner Loyalty Membership account instantly.
Subject to the points conversion structure displayed, you are allowed to make multiple points conversion transactions unless a limit is imposed on the number of points conversion transaction performed pursuant to this Programme.
The validity of the Other Partner Loyalty Points received upon conversion are subjected to the terms of use of the Other Partner Loyalty Programme.

Points Conversion by Code

Conversion of Partner Loyalty Points to AirAsia points

Link your Partner Loyalty Membership account with your AirAsia membership account to have the list of Loyalty Partners and the respective Loyalty Partner Points denominations displayed.
Select “Points Code” option on the homepage and click on the Earn AirAsia points tab.
Select the preferred Loyalty Partner’s tile, and you will be redirected to the Partner’s Loyalty platform to receive the AirAsia points code. You are required to utilise the Partner’s Loyalty Points to redeem AirAsia points in accordance with the specified conversion rate. For avoidance of doubt, you are allowed to make multiple redemptions subject to one (1) redemption per transaction.
Apply the AirAsia points code in the “ Code” section on the conversion page. For avoidance of doubt, the AirAsia points code can only be used once within the validity period of the AirAsia points code.
Once expired, validity of the unredeemed AirAsia points code will not be extended or refunded.
Partner Loyalty Points will be deducted from your Partner Loyalty Membership account and AirAsia points will be credited to your AirAsia membership account instantly upon successful usage of AirAsia points code.
AirAsia points code can be transferred to another AirAsia member.
AirAsia points received upon the usage of AirAsia points code are valid for a period of two (2) years from the date of such AirAsia points are credited to your AirAsia membership account.

Conversion of AirAsia points to Partner Loyalty Points

Link your Partner Loyalty Membership account with your AirAsia membership account to have the list of Loyalty Partners and the respective Partner Loyalty Points denominations displayed.
Select the “Points Code” option on the homepage and click on the Earn Partner Points tab.
Select preferred Loyalty Partner’s tile to redeem the Loyalty Partner’s code in accordance with the specified conversion ratio.
For avoidance of doubt, you are allowed to make multiple redemptions subject to one (1) redemption per transaction.
Upon successful redemption of a Loyalty Partner’s code, the Loyalty Partner’s code will be stored as a voucher in the “My Vouchers” section under the AirAsia rewards page on the AirAsia MOVE.
You are required to “Tear” the voucher and apply the voucher code in the respective Loyalty Partner’s platform to receive the Partner Loyalty Points.
The voucher code can only be used once subject to the validity of such voucher code.
For avoidance of doubt, AirAsia points will be deducted from your AirAsia member account and Partner Loyalty Points will be credited to your Partner Loyalty Membership account instantly upon successful usage of voucher code.
Loyalty Partner’s Points Code can be transferred to another member of Partner Loyalty Membership.
Usage of Partner Loyalty Points is subject to the respective Partner’s Loyalty Membership terms and conditions.

Points Conversion Via Request

Conversion of Partner Loyalty Points to AirAsia points

Log on to the Loyalty Partner’s website to link your Partner Loyalty Membership account with your AirAsia membership account to have the points conversion ratio and structure displayed. For avoidance of doubt, account linkage is only required and applicable to selected Loyalty Partner(s).
Fill up the points conversion request form hosted by the Loyalty Partner(s) and provide the required information to facilitate conversion of points.
Subject to you maintaining sufficient Partner Loyalty Points in the Partner Loyalty Membership account, due completion of the points conversion request form and the Partner’s approval of the points conversion request, Partner Loyalty Points will be deducted from your Partner Loyalty Membership account and AirAsia points will be credited to your AirAsia membership account within thirty (30) days from the date of submission of the duly completed points conversion request form hosted by the Loyalty Partner(s).
Upon successful conversion of points, such transactions cannot be cancelled or reversed.

Convert and Redeem

Instant Points Conversion and Redemption

Link your Partner Loyalty Membership account with your AirAsia membership account to have the list of Loyalty Partners and the respective Partner Loyalty Points denominations displayed.
Select “Instant” option and click on preferred linked Loyalty Partner’s tile to convert from Loyalty Partner Points to AirAsia points.
Every successful instant conversion of Loyalty Partner Points to AirAsia points will be recorded and the AirAsia points converted will be displayed as “Eligible Points” under the “Convert & Redeem” section and AirAsia member is required to accumulate the total Eligible Points required for the redemption of the products from the “Convert & Redeem” catalogue.
From the “Convert & Redeem” catalogue, select the prefered product to redeem on a first-come-first-served basis. A minimum Eligible Points may be applicable for redemption of a product.
If the total Eligible Points is insufficient to redeem the product selected on the redemption catalogue, you may convert more Loyalty Partner Points to AirAsia points to increase your Eligible Points, or you may purchase the additional AirAsia points required via cash top-up for the redemption of the relevant product, subject to AirAsia points top-up Terms and Conditions.
Upon successful redemption transaction, the AirAsia points utilised to redeem the product from the redemption catalogue will be deducted from the Eligible Points and such deduction will be reflected immediately in your AirAsia membership account with your Eligible Points under Convert & Redeem reflecting the latest points balance. For avoidance of doubt, a redemption transaction cannot be cancelled once performed.
The redemption catalogue is subject to change from time to time without prior written notice.
Items displayed in the redemption catalogue are limited in numbers and available for a limited period only as specified within the redemption catalogue.
Once redeemed, the respective merchant shall be solely responsible for all customer service in relation to the product redeemed and for supplying the product. Any queries by AirAsia member in relation to the same shall be directed to the respective merchant directly.

BL reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel any AirAsia member’s account and/or to forfeit the AirAsia points from any AirAsia member it believes has undertaken suspicious or fraudulent practices and/or activities or other activities harmful to the AirAsia xchange Programme or BL.
AirAsia points are not exchangeable and/or transferable for cash. The usage of AirAsia point and your membership is subject to the AirAsia rewards Programme’s separate terms and conditions.
BL accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, corrupted or misdirected conversion requests made by any AirAsia member whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise. BL shall further bear no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the members in connection with the AirAsia xchange Programme.
The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials related to the AirAsia xchange Programme.
BL reserves the absolute right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions (wholly or in part) from time to time without any prior notice. BL’s decision in relation to all aspects of the AirAsia xchange Programme (where it relates to BL) is final and conclusive under all circumstances.
The usage of Partner Loyalty Points shall be in accordance with the Partner’s Loyalty Membership terms and conditions.
Upon conversion from AirAsia points to Partner Loyalty Points or from one Partner Loyalty Points to another Partner Loyalty Points, Loyalty Partner is fully responsible for all fulfillment and customer service in connection with Partner Loyalty Points (and the goods and/or services related to redemption of Partner Loyalty Points thereto) and for supplying and fulfilling all goods and services as specified by Loyalty Partner. BL shall not be liable or held accountable (to AirAsia members or Loyalty Partner’s merchants) for any complaint, dispute, claim, loss and/or damages suffered or alleged to be suffered by any individual in relation to the use or redemption of Partner Loyalty Points (and the goods and services in relation thereto).
In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, ambiguity or discrepancy between the English version and any other languages of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail at all times.
