Terms and Conditions for airasia Move Giveaway Contest


  1. This airasia Move x Slogan Giveaway Contest (“Contest”) is organised by AirAsia Com Travel Sdn. Bhd. (Company No: 201301020508)(“Organiser”).
  2. This Campaign is governed by the terms and conditions set out hereunder (“Terms and Conditions”) and by participating or upon entry of this Campaign, all participants (“Participants”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and shall be deemed to have given their consent for the collection of personal information and the use of such personal information shall be in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Organiser with no monetary payment.
  3. Information on how to participate in this Campaign forms part of these conditions of entry. Registration for and/or participation in this Campaign is deemed as acceptance of these conditions of entry. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is a condition of entry.
Validity
  1. This Campaign concurrently runs in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Philippines (“Participating Regions”) where the Campaign will be implemented on airasia’s website (https://www.airasia.com/en/gb) or AirAsia MOVE mobile application (collectively referred to as “Dedicated Platforms”).
  2. The Contest will be held from 00:00 (GMT+8) on 25 September 2023, and end at 12:00 (GMT+8) on 6 October 2023 (“Contest Period”). The Organiser reserves the right to amend or extend the duration of the Contest at any time as it deems fit without prior notice and/or liability to any participant.
Contest Requirements
  1. To qualify and participate in this Contest, the Participants must fulfil the following requirements during the Contest Period (“Contest Requirements”):
    1. must be a valid and existing airasia member (having subscribed and registered for membership under the loyalty and rewards program operated by the Organiser under the name “airasia rewards Program”) and have a unique registration number known as the “airasia member ID” issued by the Organiser at the point of participation in the Contest. In the event the Participant is not a registered airasia member at the commencement of the Contest Period, the Participant is required to sign-up as an airasia member on the airasia website at the Dedicated Platforms before participating in the Contest. Any registration of airasia membership made by the Participants after the Contest Period shall disqualify such Participants from the Contest and Prize (hereunder defined) entitlement; and
    2. must be located in the Participating Regions based on the Internet Protocol geo-location detection; and
    3. must comply with the Contest Mechanism provided hereunder.
  2. Subject to the Contest’s Terms and Conditions, one (1) Participant who strictly follows the Contest Requirements and Contest Mechanism will be selected as the Winner of this Contest (“Winner”).
  3. Entry to the Campaign is free of charge and the Campaign is open to Participants who are eighteen (18) years old and above on the date of entry and residing in the Participating Regions except for the following:
    1. Permanent and/or temporary staff or employees of AirAsia Group Berhad and its subsidiaries; and
    2. Representatives and/or agents (including advertising & promotion) of AirAsia Group Berhad and its subsidiaries; and
    3. Merchants of AirAsia Food, employees, family members and/or relatives of the merchants.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entry by Participants which are deemed to contain offensive, inappropriate and/or obscene elements. Such entries will be disqualified immediately.
Contest Mechanism
  1. To participate in this Contest, the Participants are required to submit a slogan (“Slogan”) with strict adherence to the following conditions during the Contest Period (“Contest Mechanism”):
    1. The Slogan shall be free from plagiarism, written in English only, with no more than 10 words. For the avoidance of doubt, Slogan that contains multiple languages other than English shall not be accepted; and
    2. The Slogan must bear a representation of airasia Move goods and services that are related to travel. Any relevant information is available on the Dedicated Platforms; and
    3. The submission of Slogan shall only be submitted through the linked Google Form answer box that is sent to the Participant's email via a direct emailing (eDM) by the Organiser. Any form of submission apart from the aforementioned mechanism shall not be entertained by the Organiser.
  2. Participants retain ownership of their slogans but agree not to use them for commercial purposes until the end of Contest Period.
  3. It shall be the responsibility of the Participants to ensure that the Slogan is created out of their personal work and creativity, and free from plagiarism of any kind. The Organiser shall not be made liable for any disputes arising from the copyrights disputes arising from the Participant’s submission of such Slogan.
  4. By submitting the Slogan, Participants grant airasia Move a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish the slogan for promotional purposes and marketing purposes.
  5. Participants who adhere to the Contest Requirements and Contest Mechanism may be eligible to win the Contest, and Participants who provide incomplete entries or fail to abide by the Contest Requirements and Contest Mechanism will automatically be disqualified from the Contest without any further notice.
  6. In case there are less than five (5) Participants, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Contest with or without any further notice and/or liability to the Participants.
Announcement of Winner
  1. The Winner will be announced via email not more than 30 days from the contest's end date. (“Winner Announcement Date”).
  2. There shall be one (1) Winner will be entitled to receive the Prize based on the Organiser’s sole judgement and selection. The Winner shall be entitled to receive 20 unique promotional codes (“Promo Codes”), each worth RM300 (“Prize”). For clarity purposes, the Winner shall receive Promo Codes with a total worth of RM6000.
  3. The redemption of the Prize is strictly limited to the following conditions:-
    1. The Prize shall be issued in the form of Promo Codes. The Winner shall redeem the Prize by applying such Promo Codes during payment checkout on the Dedicated Platforms.
    2. The validity period of the Promo Codes shall be 12 months, to be calculated from the date of Winner’s receipt of the Promo Codes ("Redemption Period"). Failure of the Winner to redeem or utilise the Promo Codes prior to the lapse of such Redemption Period shall not constitute any liability on the part of the Organiser.
    3. The redemption of the Prize is subject to availability on the Dedicated Platforms. Any applicable surcharges pursuant to redemption of the Prize shall be borne by the Winner.
  4. The Prize is only claimable by the Winner. The Organiser may require proof of identity of the Winner but nothing herein obliges the Organiser under any circumstance to enquire, ascertain or investigate the identity of any person(s).
  5. Participants may be contacted, at any time deemed appropriate by the Organiser, via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by the Organiser.
  6. In the event the Winner is unreachable after three (3) days from the time of first attempt to communicate by the Organiser to contact the Winner, the Organiser shall reserve the right at its sole discretion to select and award another Winner with or without any further notice and/or assigning any reasons.
  7. In the event the original Prize offered is not available, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute or replace the Prize with another prize of similar value. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize and its value shall be determined by the Organiser at its own discretion.
  8. The decision of the Organiser in relation to every aspect of the Contest, including but not limited to the type of Prize and the Winner, is final, conclusive and binding and no further appeal, inquiry, complaint and/or correspondence will be entertained.
Miscellaneous
  1. The Prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for money, money’s worth or other prizes.
  2. In addition to the Terms and Conditions as specified herein, the Campaign’s General Terms and Conditions which can be found at https://www.airasia.com/aa/rewards/en/gb/campaign-general-terms-and-conditions.html (“General T&C”) will also apply to this Campaign. The General T&C may be amended from time to time, hence, you are advised to review it periodically to be aware of such modifications. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any terms and conditions set forth in the General T&C, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  3. These Terms and Conditions of the Contest are governed by the laws of Malaysia and subjected to the jurisdiction of a forum in Malaysia.
