AirAsia X Travel Voucher

You can use the travel voucher to book any AAX flights (airline code D7) on the AirAsia MOVE or airasia.com by inserting your travel voucher number at the payment page. You can add up to five (5) travel voucher codes for each booking.

If your voucher exceeds the value of your airfare, the unused credit will be retained in your account for future use. If your voucher limit is less than the cost of your airfare, you can simply pay the difference.

The travel vouchers can be used to book Economy and Premium Flatbed Seats on any AAX flights (airline code D7). Please note there will be a limited number of seats available on each flight when using the voucher for payment.

The Travel Voucher is applicable for the BASE FARE of the flight, baggage, seats and meals purchase. The Travel Voucher DOES NOT include all relevant airport taxes and fees, insurance surcharge, service fee, and other costs of personal nature, including but not limited to travel insurance, passports, visas and taxes.

The travel vouchers will represent the full value of the AAX credit(s) outstanding in your respective airasia rewards member account, or the amount due to guests with cancelled flights due to the pandemic. If you have a Fly-Thru connecting flight under a different flight code (AK, FD, QZ, Z2) this amount will also be included in your travel voucher.

The travel voucher will also be credited in the original currency of your booking.

The travel vouchers will be valid for 5 years from the date of issuance for redemption of AAX services only (airline code D7).

The travel voucher cannot be used to book Fly-Thru flights or a combination of flights operated by other AirAsia airlines (airline code AK, QZ, FD, Z2, XJ).

Also, the number of allocated seats to be redeemed for each flight is limited and is further subject to availability. If you encounter an error message, try selecting a different travel date.

You can check your travel voucher balance on the AirAsia MOVE.

Launch the AirAsia MOVE and go to Account and click Travel vouchers
 

Your travel voucher details will be displayed as voucher number, voucher type, amount and expiry date.

AirAsia X Berhad (“Us” or “We”) at our absolute discretion, hereby offer our passengers/travels agents (“You”) promotional air travel privileges in the form of Travel Voucher in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

1. You will receive a Travel Voucher with a value equivalent to the amount paid for your previous flight booking(s) that was cancelled by Us. In the event You have previously received a credit shell, only the portion of the unutilised credit shell will be converted into a Travel Voucher.
2. You will receive the Travel Voucher via email and in the form of a unique number (“Redemption Code”) linked to your airasia Rewards (“Account”).
3. The Travel Voucher is only valid for medium-haul (above 4 hours) flights operated by Us (AirAsia X Berhad flight code:D7) and cannot be used to redeem Fly-Thru flights, short-haul (below 4 hours) flights, or a combination of flights operated by any of our affiliates (flight codes: AK, Z2, QZ, FD, I5, XJ).
4. You may only use the Travel Voucher when booking a flight for yourself or others (“Passenger”) by logging into your Account on AirAsia MOVE or our website (www.airasia.com) and by entering the Redemption Code at the payment page. However, please note that the number of allocated seats to be redeemed for each flight is limited and is further subject to availability. As a multi-use voucher, You can utilise the Redemption Code for one or more bookings until the balance is exhausted.
5. The Travel Voucher is valid for 5 years from the date of issuance (“Validity Period”) or as extended at our absolute discretion. Any Travel Voucher (or balance thereof) not redeemed within the Validity Period shall be deemed surrendered and forfeited.
6. The Travel Voucher cannot be sold, exchanged or refunded for cash. Bookings made using the Complimentary Voucher are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for any other benefits in kind.
7. The Travel Voucher is applicable for the BASE FARE of the flight, baggage, seats and meals purchase. The Travel Voucher DOES NOT include all relevant airport taxes and fees, additional insurance, and other costs of personal nature, including but not limited to additional insurance, passports, visas and taxes. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the Passenger. You are solely responsible for the payment of all airport tax, additional insurance, administration fee and other surcharges to be paid to Us and the payment must be paid with other payment options available during the booking process.
8. Any subsequent changes to the destination, flight date/time or name change cannot be paid with the Travel Voucher.
9. We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by You in connection with the redemption or usage or inability to use the Travel Voucher.
10. We retain the right to substitute the Travel Voucher with another of similar value.
11. By utilising the Travel Voucher, You are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions as well as the Terms and Conditions of Carriage for D7 Flights available at www.airasia.com/aa/about-us/en/gb/terms-and-conditions-d7.html.
12. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
